In 2001, the company’s sales grew by 43% and amounted to 43,459.3 million rubles (2000 – 30,499.4 million rubles), while costs reached 34,685.4 million rubles (2000 – 25,101.4 million rubles). Gross profit equaled 8,773.9 million rubles (2000 – 5,398 million rubles). AO MOSENERGO’s net profit amounted to 2,067.6 million rubles which is 2.6 times more than in 2000 (787.2 million rubles).
