MOSENERGO fuel reserves have stayed at or above target figures set for the current heating season. This announcement was made at a business meeting, held by heads and deputy heads of MOSENERGO fuel and transportation departments at the 22nd Power-and-Heating Plant (PHP-22).
According to data provided by the 3rd Gas-Distributing Electric Station (GDES-3), quotas for natural gas deliveries amounted to 15,600,000 m3. Required levels of reserves were 5,239 tons for fuel oil and 25,000 tons for gas turbine plants. Currently GDES-3 has stayed in line with those requirements.
During this heating season on average MOSENERGO has maintained target levels of fuel reserves.
As of 1 January 2001, reserves of fuel oil, coal and natural gas deliveries to the company's facilities exceeded target levels. Fuel oil reserves were at 629,000 tons (target figure - 573,000 tons), Kuznetsk coal reserves were at nearly 768,000 tons (target - 530,000 tons). At the start of the year requirements for lignite were 260,000 tons while actual reserves stored by MOSENERGO amounted to 290,000 tons. By the same date the company spent about 23 billion m3 of natural gas while the agreed amount of deliveries was more than 24 billion m3.
"Most important for us is to ensure uninterrupted supply of power and heat to paying customers. This is why we take special care in providing a smooth run for the heating season and ensuring the availability of the required fuel reserves," said MOSENERGO CEO Alexander Remezov.
