On November 20, 2008, at the “Standards for Corporate Media Resources: New Potential of Efficient Development” national conference in Moscow organized by the Communication and Information Academy, the award ceremony was held for the prize and diploma winners of the “Silver Threads 2008” national competition of corporate media resources, with the corporate website of N.W.Telecom among them. The competition’s Expert Panel awarded the website nwtelecom.ru in the “Best Corporate Website” nomination. Over 124 corporate media resources of companies and organizations, including 33 corporate websites, participated in the “Silver Threads 2008” competition. Among these were the websites of JSC KAMAZ (Naberezhnye Chelny), JSC Rostovoblgaz (Rostov-na-Donu), Kolenergo branch of North-West MRSK (Murmansk Oblast), JSC ER Telecom Holding (Perm), Ak-Bars Bank (Kazan), JSC Marketing-Soyuz (Moscow), and other companies from several regions of Russia. The official website of N.W.Telecom registered under the domain name www.nwtelecom.ru is an external channel of corporate communication established for on-line delivery of information on N.W.Telecom to vast numbers of Internet users, such as investors and shareholders, and existing and potential customers of the Company. Every month, the website www.nwtelecom.ru, including the branches’ Internet presentations*, is visited by over one million of Internet users. Well-designed navigation enables convenient traveling among the website's sections and quick jumping to a desired page. With the aid of the website, customers get information on services offered by N.W.Telecom and its tariff policy, and shareholders and investors, financial/economic and analytic information on the Company.
