Mikhail Brylin demonstrated the world results on the completed in Toliatti XXI world championship on power lifting and weight press in lying position. In power triathlon among the juniors he collected the weight of 980kg, having demonstrated the champion result. This achievement exceeded the sum collected by the winner, who took part in the competition among the men. Brylin had the following results: weight press in lying position - 252,5kg, squatting with the weight on the shoulders - 380kg, weight lifting - 347,5kg. In each category the sportsmen had three trials within which Mikhail set 4 world and 5 Russia records. In contest on weight press in lying position the sportsman took part in the adult category and renewed the world record having collected 260kg.

There was confirmed the forecast of the President of Power lifting Organization of Russia Yuri Ustinov, who expressed his confidence in the letter to TGC-9 and said, that “appearance of Mikhail Brylin would enrich the championship and bring the prime medals to our team”.

It was the first time the competitions of such level were held in Russia. About five hundred of sportsmen from twenty counties of the world took part in the largest forum of the athletes. These were the strongest sportsmen from France, Germany, Finland, Iran, the USA, Australia, Baltic and CIS countries.

The success of TGC-9 sportsman was logical. This year he became the champion of Russia on power lifting what gave him the right to participate in the contest with the strongest athletes of the planet. To confirm this there was the invitation to Moscow which Mikhail Brylin received to take part in the shooting of the TV project called “Night of Champions”. Five strongest athletes of Russia will take part in it in weight category up to 110kg.
