The website of NLMK Group (www.nlmk.com), an international steelmaking company with operations in Russia, the USA and EU member states, has won the ‘Industrial or Fuel&Energy Company Website’ nomination at the Golden Site awards, the biggest and longest-running competition for Russian internet projects.
Launched at the beginning of 2016, the Group’s new website (www.nlmk.com) has been used as a template for the websites of NLMK’s subsidiaries, including NLMK Lipetsk, Stoilensky, VIZ-Steel, Alti-Koks, NLMK Kaluga, among others.
The Golden Site awards have been held since 1997. The event is organized by the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) and the RUWARD project group. The jury is made up of representatives from web development, the authorities and telecoms, logistics, construction and other companies as well as the media; a total of around 70 people. In 2016, over 1000 projects applied in 70 nominations, with 40 industrial Russian companies competing in the ‘Industrial or Fuel&Energy Company Website’ category.
