Moscow, 2 August 2006. On 1 August 2006, the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia (FSFM) registered issues of ordinary and preferred shares of OAO "Ulyanovsk Territorial Generation Company", a spin-off of OAO "Ulyanovskenergo". The shares were distributed among Ulyanovskenergo shareholders. According to the resolutions authorizing the share issuance, the following amounts of shares were issued:

• 20,751,554 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB6 per share, for a total value of RUB124,509,324. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55213-E;
• 6,917,066 uncertificated registered preferred shares, par value RUB6 per share, for a total value of RUB41,502,396. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55213-E.
