Moscow – CenterTelecom OJSC reports that its Tver and Voronezh branches have launched a new service "Personal Antivirus Program by Dr. Web" for the subscribers of Domolink, the company's broadband Internet access service.
Vaagn Martirosyan, General Director, CenterTelecom, said: "Internet users computers' safety from viruses and spam is one of the core problems now. We are sure that the new service is to be a reliable protection of our customers' computers against spy software, spam and harmful computer viruses."
The company's customer may subscribe to the service through his/her member area at Domolink web site. As soon the subscription is activated the user receives a link to download Dr. Web installation package. The new antivirus software will be monitoring operations with files, scanning random access memory and boot sector, and blocking email messages containing viruses and spam.
The customers subscribed to the service get a discount in the amount of a monthly subscription fee. The subscription is in effect for one month; it is prolonged or suspended automatically. A subscriber has right to get free update of Dr. Web antivirus databases and software modules, and also may use free maintenance services.
