From June 30, 2003, Aeroflot-Russian Airlines Company makes four flights a day from Kaliningrad to Moscow by Tu154M with two classes (24 seats – in business class and 102 seats – in economy class).
Lithuania imposed visa restrictions since July 1 and made it difficult to travel from Kaliningrad to other regions of Russia by overland means of transport.
Aeroflot-Russian Airlines governed by the principles of the social responsibility increased flight frequency to four flights a day on Moscow-Kaliningrad-Moscow route at tariffs close to rail transport prices. The minimum price for Kaliningrad-Moscow-Kaliningrad flight is 990 rubles, one way flight from Kaliningrad to Moscow is 750 rubles, from Moscow to Kaliningrad is 950 rubles.
Now Russian people have an opportunity to use any of four Aeroflot daily flights Kaliningrad-Moscow-Kaliningrad and Moscow-Kaliningrad-Moscow. Aeroflot provides daily carriages of about a thousand passengers at moderate prices confirming the right for freedom of movement of our citizens in the country.
