“Novgorodenergo” branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC has begun execution of 2012 repair program. In the current year one plans to undertake capital repair of 91 transmission lines of varied voltage class, their total extension amounting to 295.3 km, and to clear 2546.1 ha of overhead line forest corridors. Accounting for the materials, the cost of works on the transmission lines will exceed 77 mln RUR. Current repairs will be carried out at 23 110–35 kV substations costing 9.1 mln RUR. 7.8 mln RUR are allocated for repair of 10/0.4 kV transformer substations.
The total cost of 2012 repair program of “Novgorodenergo” branch of IDGC of the North-West is estimated as equal to 108 mln 975 thousand RUR which exceeds the previous year level by 2.2 mln RUR. Most of the repair works (costing 86.4 mln RUR) will involve engagement of contractor organizations.
