TGC-9 accepted the program of realization of ecological policy for years 2007-2009.

Within the limits of the program they determined several organizational arrangements on introduction in TGC-9 of ecological management system and ecological audit that satisfies Russian and international standards, planned participation in work of RAO “UES of Russia” on perfection of RF legislation and corporate documents in the sphere of environmental protection. The program also provides continuation of financing of projects that came from the program of realization of ecological policy of RAO “UES of Russia” for the year 2006 and determines the arrangements on realization of company Ecological policy and achievement of principal rates.

According to the results of realization of ecological policy program arrangements by the year 2009 TGC-9 plans to reduce emission of nitrogen to 35,9 thousand tons, sulfur oxides – to 59,9 thousand tons, chark – to 53,9 thousand tons. Besides, as a result of program realization TGC-9 plans to reduce specific water use rates and also spillovers of polluted waste water, continue works on protection and rational use of lands.

Altogether by the year 2009 within the limits of ecological policy program realization TGC-9 plans to invest more than 196 million RUR in arrangements on environmental protection. TGC-9 is going to give more than 95 million RUR for ecological arrangements in the year 2007, in the year 2008 – 45,4 million, in the year 2009 – 56,9 million RUR.
