On working meeting between Alexander Medvedev and Robert Tyson

Gazprom Headquarters today hosted a working meeting between Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Robert Tyson, Ambassador of Australia to Russia.

The parties addressed issues as regards the APEC Australia 2007 Business Summit to be held in September in Sydney and Gazprom delegation’s participation in the event.

Robert Tyson stressed that the upcoming Summit would pay particular attention to the discussion of energy aspects for the Asia-Pacific region.

“Operations in the APEC region are a new crucial business activity of Gazprom abroad. Gazprom is intent on studying various possibilities for cooperation with APEC Member Economies, including in the form of asset swap arrangements,” stated Gazprom Deputy Chairman Alexander Medvedev.
