Seminar “Use of the new devices in the reporting and dispatch systems (power grid characteristics monitoring) in the power energy objects” took place in Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Volga, Joint Stock Company.

LLC “Prosoft-Systems” represented their recent software and hardware developments in the sphere of energy accounting and remote control, described in details their design and operational features to the technical specialists of the administrative staff of IDGC of Volga, JSC and its branch - “Saratov Distribution Grids”. Communicator “PGC”, one of the new equipments, attracted particular interest of the specialists. This device allows to transfer data in the power accounting systems with the help of GSM and GPRS communication channels. It is not a secret, that the reliable cable networks are absent in many regions and building of the new ones requires the significant financial investments. The equipment represented on the seminar allows to solve the problem of the lack of cable networks and organize the reliable data transfer. The development engineers told about the new multi-functional telecontrol device UTM «ECOM-TM» and equipment for the commercial power energy accounting. New equipment put into operation will lead to the increase of power supply reliability and decrease of the losses in IDGC of Volga, JSC grids.
