Within the framework of the priority national program "Education" the Karachaevo-Cherkessian branch of "UTK" PJSC will provide Internet access to 189 schools of the republic in 2006-2007. By the end of 2006 50 schools will be connected to the global network.

“In September and October of 2006 experts of the branch connected 39 schools to the Internet, which constituted 105 % of the planned work”, - Nikolay Ostroukhov, Technical Director of the branch stated.

 Within the framework of the priority national program "Education" UTK will provide Internet access to 2,290 schools of Southern federal district by the end of 2006. In 2006-2007 "UTK" PJSC plans to connect 5,414 schools of the Southern federal district to the Internet.
