The Department has received a Honorary Diploma as a Winner of the All-Russian "Best HR Service 2007" Awards for its success in the development and implementation of an efficient HR policy during the period of transition to market economy.

HR Head Vadim Galka and Deputy Head Anna Vasilyeva have been awarded a Honorary Badge "For Excellence in HR Activity 2007".

The winners were announced at the official ceremony in the Oval Office of the House of Trade Unions in Moscow.

The RAO UES HR Department was nominated for this honorary award by the Competition Council of the Third All-Russian "Best HR Service 2007" Awards comprising Director of Social Development and Environment Protection Department Sergey Kalashnikov, Head of the Main Directorate at the Presidential Affairs Division Viktor Savchenko, Professor Emeritus, Honoured Economist of the Russian Federation, Honoured Science and Engineering Worker of the Russian Federation Leonid Kostin, and Director of the Institute of Labour and Employment of Plekhanov Russian Economic Academy Sergey Kartashov.

The Competition organized by the Organizing Committee of the International Forum "Global Experience and Russia's Economy" is designed to incentivize the best HR departments of the Russian companies successfully resolving the challenges of efficient HR policy and using modern ways and methods of HR management.
