St. Petersburg, December 20, 2007. The extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Severo-Zapadnaya TETs was held in St. Petersburg in the form of absentee voting.

The list of persons entitled to take part in the meeting was compiled as of November 14, 2007. The deadline for accepting voting bulletins was December 19, 2007.

As a result, the shareholders approved the reorganization of Severo-Zapadnaya TETs in the form of a takeover by Sochinskaya TES and the agreement for the takeover of INTER RAO UES Holding, JSC INTER RAO UES, Kaliningradskaya TETs-2, Severo-Zapadnaya TETs, and Ivanovskiye PGU by Sochinskaya TES.
