Every forth truck marketed in CIS countries is purchased in the Ukraine. In 2004 KAMAZ Inc. sold 1 461 trucks in that country and that is by two times more vs. 2003. The Company increased its spare parts sales volume by 1.6 times valued 466 million rubles.These numbers were given on the meeting of Ukrainian dealers of KAMAZ Inc., which was held in Naberezhnye Chelny.
According to 2004 results the best Ukrainian companies are “Evroskladservis” Ltd., a group of enterprises AVTEK, the Trade House “KAMAZ” and Agro-Soyuz Ltd.
KAMAZ Inc.’s Direction announced on the meeting that since 2005 the Company proceeds (pass) to another cooperating scheme with its Ukrainian dealers. Firstly, each of the dealer is introduced a plan following which it is guaranteed to remain the Company’s official dealer for a year more. Secondly, every KAMAZ dealer should have its own service center. Type design of service centers was represented on the meeting.
KAMAZ Inc. also plans to build up depots for spare parts on the territory of the Ukraine to facilitate the process of spare parts acquiring. In total, this all provides for a high service quality for KAMAZ customers.
Besides, a great attention will be paid to KAMAZ employees’ education level, which lately leaves much to be desired and accordingly has an impact on claims number. In April service centers’ specialists will have to raise their qualification.
As to KAMAZ Inc. current year targets it was announced on the meeting that the Ukrainian market may contain 1500 trucks valued 1 milliard 320 million rubles and spare parts valued 550 million rubles. KAMAZ trucks sales share on the Ukrainian domestic market is planned to increase up to 35%.
