President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to award President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov the Order of Friendship for special contribution to the development of relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation.    

Dostlug Order, or the Order of Friendship, ratified in 2007, is conferred to distinguish special contribution to international friendship, continuous good relations between nations and regions, and sustaining peace.
