With this opening, Lenta expands its network in the Central Region to 18 hypermarkets in 12 cities.
St-Petersburg, Russia; 27 November, 2015– Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of a new hypermarket in Tula.
The new store is a Lenta compact format hypermarket located in the “Maxi” shopping mall at 2 Proletarskaya Street, Tula. The store has a total area of 10,675 sq.m, with 6,583 sq.m of selling space and is open from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. A broad product assortment of 19,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Tula and includes Lenta’s private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store is equipped with 31 cash registers. The property is leased by Lenta. The “Maxi” shopping mall has 2,500 parking spaces.
This opening is Lenta’s eighteenth hypermarket opening in 2015 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 126 hypermarkets in 65 cities across Russia and 27 supermarkets in the Moscow region.
