St. Petersburg, Russia, 29 November 2018– Lenta (LSE, MOEX: LNTA), one of the largest retail chains in Russia, has received the highest score in a survey by Advantage Group, which included a mutual assessment of the relationship quality between manufacturers and retailers. The Company’s hypermarkets were ranked the highest in most categories, leaving competitors behind in overall performance.
Advantage Group’s survey was conducted through almost 1,300 questionnaires and over 230 phone interviews with 164 suppliers and manufacturers of consumer goods. Questions on each organisation’s relationship with retailers covered a total of 26 topics, including strategy, category management, supply chain, stores performance and cooperation with suppliers. Lenta’s hypermarkets led ratings by most categories. Compared with the previous year, Lenta has improved its score to reach first place in the overall rating. In 2017, Lenta was in second place.
