Business Initiative Directions awards this decoration to the companies that has confirmed their leadership in promising and high-yielding fields of industry and services, possess a high-performance management system, introduce and apply technological innovations, as well as deepen quality standards.

The ceremony of presentation of the "Crown Quality" award of the 14th International BID Forum was moderated by President and Chairman of the BID Board of Directors Mr. Jose E. Prieto.

Among the companies, the laureates of the year, are ALMA TECHNOLOGIES and GRUPO BERTOLIN (Spain), Mellon Technologies (Greece), ALS BDDP (France), and ATTIEH STEEL FACTORY (Saudi Arabia).

From the year of the Award foundation, which is 1975, and until the present moment, only three Russian producer companies have become the prize winners, namely: the Khrunitchev State Space Scientific-Production Center (GKNPTs - Russ.) and Public Joint Stock Air Company "Polyot" ("Flight" - Eng.), which are producers of spacecrafts and satellites and airlirlifting operators for the Russian Space Agency, as well as the Russian Maritime Shipping Register.

Jose Prieto handed over the "Quality Crown" award to the First Deputy General Director of PJSC Moscow City Telephone Network (MGTS) Mr. Simon V. Rabovskiy who represented the Russian company, which has been providing the Muscovites over a distance of 120 years with quality and accessible telecommunications services, at the decoration ceremony. In his thank-you speech, Mr. Rabovskiy stressed that "striving for high quality of performance and high standards of servicing the customers have been and will continue to be this Company's top priority objective".
