The above numbering capacity set into service is allocated per the Telephone Nodes' operating areas as follows: Tushinskiy Telephone Node - 20 000 numbers, Filyovskiy Telephone Node - 12 000 numbers, Petrovskiy Telephone Nodes - 9000 numbers, Preobrazhenskiy Telephone Node - 6000 numbers, and Zamoskvoretskiy Telephone Node - 2000 numbers (the telephone nodes are component business units of MGTS).
The numbering capacity of the new concentrators will be used to meet the requests for installing telephones for the inhabitants of the northern part (Khovrino, Koptevo, Voykovskaya, Vodnyi Stadion, Retchnoi Vokzal), the eastern part (Galyanovo, Perovo, Novogireyevo, Izmailovo, Sokolinaya Gora), the south-western part (Nikulino, Ochakovo, Ramenki, Troparevo, Obruchevo, Davydkovo) of Moscow. At the present day, signing contracts to provide those on the waiting list with telephone communications services is started at the above Telephone Nodes. Top priority is given to furnishing the residents of the above districts with apartment telephones.
In 2001, the Public Joint Stock Company Moscow City Telephone Network (MGTS) put 64 650 numbers into operation. In 2002, PJSC MGTS contemplates setting into service 87 600 numbers at all the Company's telephone nodes in Moscow, within the framework of a specific program for providing with telephones the residents in the districts of the capital-city with developed infrastructures through constructing concentrators and small-scale telephone exchanges (with a capacity ranging from 1000 up to 5000 numbers).
