The crisis affected the Pskov Region least of all: supply to the grid there has fallen as little as by 1.5%.
Productive supply to consumers in the zone of IDGC of North-West’s responsibility for 9 months of 2009 has been 28.2 billion kWh. This is by 0.7% above the target; however, this is by 11.7% below the similar indicator of 2008, according to the information of the electric power transport department of IDGC of North-West.
Thus losses of electric power are below the specification and equal 6.7% out of the total supply to the grid.
In the conditions of industrial production recession, the greatest level of decrease in consumption of electric energy is observed in the Vologda Region (20.6%), Republic of Karelia (12.8%) and Murmansk Region (12.2%). In the Arkhangelsk Region, electricity consumption has decreased by 5.6%; in the Novgorod Region – by 4.2%, in the Republic of Komi – by 2.1%.
