Alexander Kukhmay, General Director of IDGC of North-West and Alexander Klimanov, Director of “Vologdaenergo” branch took part in the ceremony dedicated to the completion of construction of gas turbine thermal power plant in the city of Krasavino in Velikiy Ustyug district. Viktor Ryabishin, Deputy Governor of the Vologda Region, and other officials also took part in the ceremony.
The project was realized within the framework of the cooperation with the authorities of the Vologda Region and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic in the sphere of the electric power. The investments to the reconstruction of the turbine thermal power plant accounted for EUR 87.42 million. The capacity of the station accounts for 62 MW – it consists of three gas turbines with the capacity of 14.2 MW and one steam turbine of 20 MW. New gas turbine thermal power plant will work out and transmit the electric power to four districts of the Vologda Region.
“Thermal power plant putting into operation is the important event for IDGC of North-West. We expect that together with the gas turbine thermal power plant putting into operation we will witness the decrease of the technical losses costs of the electric power transmission to the grid of 110 kV. Since the beginning of the station work, we will increase the reliability of the power supply of the consumers of the north-western districts of the Vologda region”, said Alexander Kukhmay at the ceremony.
“Vologdaenergo” took part in the project related to the construction of “Krasavino” tapping of 110 kV overhead line. The new power transmission areal line of 5.44 km will carry out the transmission of power to the grid of 110 kV for the power supply of the consumers. “Vologdaenergo” branch costs for the construction of “Krasavono” tapping of 110 kV overhead line accounted for RUR 34 million.
