The construction of HVL branch lines from “Korelenergo” branch of IDGC of North-West is planned to be completed by the end of 2009.

“IDGC of North-West” carries out the open request of the proposals for the right to sign the agreement for the development of project documents and the construction of two overhead lines of 150 kV to feed the 150/35/6 “ODC Oleniy Ruchei” substation.

“For the present day we possess the technical and economic substantiation of the project and the company which is to develop the working documents and build two spur lines will be chosen according to the results of tradings, explained Alexander Zaits, IDGC of North-West Technical Development Department Head. Technical Development Department is the part of the working group engaged into the project of technological connection of CJSC “North-Western Phosphor Company” to the grids of “IDGC of North-West”.

The results of the declared contest will be announced after June 10, 2009.

The completion of the construction of two spur lines of 7.3 km length from power transmission lines of “Korelenergo” branch of IDGC of North-West is planned by the end of 2009. “The terms are very tough, but it is possible to make the connection before the New Year”, Alexander Zaits forecasts.

We should remind that the connection of CJSC “North-Western Phosphor Company” facilities to the grids of “IDGC of North-West” needs 38 MW of the capacity to provide power to ore-dressing and processing enterprise “Oleniy Ruchei” in the Murmansk Region with the plan up to 66 MW in 2018.

Technical connection of CJSC “North-Western Phosphor Company” to the grids of “Kolenergo” branch of “IDGC of North-West” is planned to be made in two stages. The first of them determines the design and construction of the spur lines of 7.3 km from “Kolenergo” power transmission line, Distribution center -150, substation 150/35/6 kV with 8 MW capacity supply by the end of 2009 and 38 MV in 2011.
