On July 31 a conference on preparation of the electric power grid complex of the North-Western Federal District for 2012-2013 heating season took place in Saint Petersburg, moderated by First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of FGC UES, JSC Valery Chistyakov. IDGC of the North-West, JSC was represented by General Director Sergey Titov, Deputy Chief Engineer Gennady Aleksandrov and managers of the company branches. The conference participants paid much attention to the repairs campaign and execution of mandatory measures of preparation for the winter.
Currently in effect between enterprises of FGC UES, JSC and IDGC Holding, JSC in the North-Western Federal District are agreements on interaction for prevention and elimination of abnormal situations at power industry facilities, one having provided for prompt data exchange, arrangement of joint operational headquarters. A unified system for display of emergency reserve analysis is being deployed with a program for carrying out joint personnel training having been elaborated. First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of FGC UES, JSC Valery Chistyakov emphasized the importance of further consolidation of electric power grid companies’ efforts during preparation for and work in the autumn/winter peak load period inclusive of creation of a unified information base of the companies’ emergency reserves that may be employed for elimination of abnormal situations as well as elaboration of a common scheme of power industry facilities operation. Within IDGC of the North-West preparation for the autumn/winter period is proceeding in interaction with bulk electric power grids of the North-West. Serious attention is paid to preparation for work under the conditions of complicated technological disturbances. One has approved of the operational headquarters structure, composition and functions.
IDGC of the North-West is implementing an array of organizational and technical measures for bringing the core and auxiliary equipment, buildings and structures to preparedness for work in the autumn/winter period. In terms of most indicators execution of the repairs program is proceeding ahead of the calendar schedule. The program 2012 funding amount has been determined as equal to 1,571.9 mln RUR. Works are in progress for forest corridors clearing and expansion; in particular, the expansion volume has been increased 2.9 times, up to 456 ha. In 2013 it is to grow up to 725 ha, in 2014 – to 833 ha, in 2015 – to 957 ha. Apart from extension, the company will perform in 2012 planned clearing of overhead transmission line routes to an extent of 13.4 thousand ha.
