Apart from Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo and Pskovenergo were to prove their preliminary preparedness for the winter.
In July 23-27 Arkhenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC underwent a large-scale audit of the core areas. A special commission reviewed organization of operational substations and transmission lines, investment activity, protection of labor and organization of work with the personnel within the branch. The review detected no essential violations at the enterprise, Arkhenergo planning to implement most of the technical recommendations and prescriptions in the process of 2012 repairs program execution. The selective audit was arranged within the framework of preliminary review of preparedness of FGC UES, JSC branches and IDGC Holding SDCs for operation during 2012/2013 heating season. Within IDGC of the North-West, JSC the commissions sequentially work with three out of the seven branches. Apart from Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo and Pskovenergo were to prove their preliminary preparedness for the winter.
The commission specifically in charge of Arkhenergo included Chief Inspector Engineers of IDGC of the North-West Aleksey Gorsky and Yevgeny Sokoulin. The commission was headed by Chief Inspector Engineer of the Technical Supervision Service of Trunk Electric Power grids of the North-West Mikhail Osetrov. The inspectors noted compliance of the electric power grid complex operation with the normative documents requirements. Additionally, Arkhenergo is systematically implementing target programs for the electric power grid complex development within the framework of the effective transmission tariff. The branch is engaged in work aimed at gradual technical re-equipment of grids. The audit review covered both Arkhenergo management staff and the company’s structural subdivisions.
Noteworthily, since August 1 the next stage of the preliminary review of IDGC of the North-West preparedness for operation during 2012/2013 heating season will commence. A certificate of preparedness of the winter is planned to be received by October 15 of the current year.
