The parties touching upon the problems related to admission of the crews of Karelenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West for performance of works for clearance and extension of HV lines forest corridors

General Director of IDGC of the North-West Sergey Titov, within the framework of a business trip to the Republic of Karelia, had a meeting with First Deputy Head of Karelia Oleg Gromov.The conference took place on the regional government premises.

The parties discussed the progress in Karelia’s power industry system preparation for operation during the autumn ad winter season, in particular –touching upon the problems related to admission of the crews of Karelenergo branch of IDGC of the North-West for performance of works for clearance and extension of HV lines forest corridors.  The works are being performed within the framework of the grid company’s program aimed at bringing the forest corridors in the normative condition and preventing trees falling onto the wires. 
In the course of the conference Sergey Titov and Oleg Gromov additionally touched upon the issues of tariff regulation within the region territory and discussed the problems related to regional consumers failing to pay to the grid company for energy transmission services.
