Moscow, Russia – August 9, 2011 – Rostelecom (MICEX: RTKM, RTKM-002D - RTKM-017D, RTKMP; RTS: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia’s national telecommunications operator, announces that its Board of Directors appointed the Members of the Strategy Committee, the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee, the Corporate Governance Committee and the Audit Committee.

Vadim Semenov was appointed as Chairman of the Strategy Committee, with Yury Kudimov, Sergei Kuznetsov, Anatoly Milyukov, Alexander Provotorov, Ivan Rodionov and Anatoly Tikhonov appointed as members.

Alexander Pertsovsky was appointed as Chairman of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee, with Vladimir Bondarik, Anton Zlatopolsky and Anatoly Milyukov appointed as members.

Sergei Kuznetsov was appointed as Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee, with Vladimir Bondarik, Anton Zlatopolsky and Alexander Provotorov appointed as members.

Yury Kudimov was appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee, with Alexander Pertsovsky, Vadim Semenov and Ivan Rodionov appointed as members.
