Japan-Russia IT Strategic Conference 2004 «Joining hands for an advanced-IT future» was held in Tokyo, May 20 — 21, 2004 with the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Communications and Informatization taking part.
During the conference representatives of the biggest Russian and Japanese telecommunications and IT-companies shared opinions at the Moderated Panel «3G Mobile Telecom». General Director of Rostelecom Dmitry Y. Yerokhin was one of the Russian delegation's members at this round-table discussion.
The conference explored topical issues of telecommunications development both in Russia and Japan. Among high-ranking officials participated there were present: from Russia — Dmitry A. Milovantsev, Director of the Federal Communications Agency, from Japan — Shoichi Nakagawa, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. |
