Specialists of “IDGC Volga”, OJSC branch, Chuvashenergo, have finished routine complex repair of 110/35/10 kV substation “Alikovo” in Alokovo district of Chuvash Republic and 110/35/10 kV substation “Kushkum” in the Yadrin region of Chuvashia. Total estimated cost of repair is over 5 mln. RUR. Alikovo 110/35/10 kV substation with the capacity of 32 MVA has been operated since 1981. Annual routine repairs of electric equipment increase reliability level of electric power supply to 27.5 thousand consumers of the Alikovo region, among which there are socially important facilities: Central Regional hospital of the Alikovo settlement, 3 schools, 2 kindergartens, 10 boiler-houses, 6 agricultural enterprises. In the course of work specialists performed a routine maintenance of two power transformers, two auxiliary transformers, two 35 kV transformers and two 10 kV transformers and 26 10-110 kV discharge arresters. Likewise, 7 35 kV oil circuit breakers, 6 110 kV and 16 35 kV disconnect switches, 2 isolating switches and 2 short-circuiting switches were completely overhauled.110/35/10 kV substation “Kushkum” has been operating in theYadrin region since 1967. Today, its capacity is 12.6 Megavoltamperes. Main consumers of electric power supplied by Kuskum 110/35/10 kV substation are residential consumers (about 8.4 th. people), health care institutions, 9 schools, 4 kindergartens, 23 boiler houses, 29 water towers. In the course of work specialists performed a routine maintenance of two power transformers, two auxiliary transformers, three 110 kV, three 35 kV and two 10 kV transformers, 17 35-110 kV discharge arresters. Furthermore, one 110 kV MKP-110 and three 35 kV oil circuit breakers were completely overhauled with replacement of PP-67Ê drive; 19 10 kV oil circuit breakers; eight 110 kV and seven 35 kV disconnect switches, two isolating switches and two short-circuiting switches also underwent a complete repair. Besides, in the course of the complex maintenance, relay protection and substation equipment automatics were replaced. Specialists from “Chuvashenergo”, branch of “IDGC Volga”, OJSC, put special emphasis on the fact that maintenance and preparation for upcoming autumn/winter seasons are high priority tasks, as uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the Chuvash Republic depends on reliable operation of distributing grid complex.
