Based on the final inspection report dated September 26, 2013, Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), received a Certificate of preparedness for operations during the 2013/2014 autumn-winter season. When preparing for autumn-winter operations, Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC, implemented 282 task-oriented activities, including functional testing of various systems at power facilities, preparation of motor vehicles for passenger transportation in wintertime, ensuring operational availability of hoisting machinery. Successful implementation of the repair program is one of the key factors for ensuring reliable operation of the power grid equipment during the upcoming autumn-winter season. In conformity with its operational schedules, Mordovenergo specialists repaired 390.76 km of 35-110 kV transmission lines, 610.7 km of 10/0.4 kV overhead transmission lines, and accomplished scheduled repair operations at eighteen 35-110 kV substations and ninety-four 10-0.4 kV substations. The emergency inventory levels for materials, equipment and spare parts reach 100% of the required stock. The branch held 107 scheduled emergency response training exercises focused on specific prevention measures, and four joint training exercises, with participation of representatives of the Central Office of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Mordovia and local executive authorities. These joint training exercises were held to practice coordinated emergency response actions under low temperature operation conditions.
