Power engineers of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) continue their activities to implement the repair program 2014. As of August 01, 2014, specialists from Penza completed overhaul activities at 35-110 kV and 0.4-10 kV overhead power transmission lines (436 km and 2,240 km respectively), at thirty-two 35-110 kV substations, at 681 6-10/0.4 kV transformer substations. Overhaul activities at Ñ-1-Òpower transformer installed at 110 kV substation Zavodskaya were completed ahead of schedule. In addition, specialists completed vegetation management activities on the total area of 302 ha.
The annual repair campaign of Penzaenergo is aimed to improve the liability and quality of power supply for consumers in the Penza region, and is a prerequisite for successful operation of the electrical grid system in general during peak-load autumn and winter season.
