The first stage of reconstruction of electric grids in the Konstantinovka settlement, Sharlykskiy district, is already completed. Employees of the Central Electric Grids of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group), installed ten new pole-type transformers instead of outdated ones. In June, power engineers proceeded to replacement of supports and wire of overhead power transmission lines. “Wooden supports will be completely replaced with new reinforced concrete poles, and new electricity meters and street lighting lanterns will be installed. At present, 90 poles are already mounted at 10 kV overhead line,” told Sergey Malikov, Chief Engineer of the Central Electric Grids of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC. Power engineers also took the ecological aspect into account. To protect birds against electric shock, bird guards will be installed on the power transmission line. In the course of the reconstruction, more than 460 poles will be replaced all in all, about 5 kilometers of wire, 238 meters, 36 street lighting lanterns and 1,089 bird guards will be installed.
