At the VIII Cheboksary Economic Forum, Dmitriy Tolmachev, Head of Process Development and Innovation Department of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), was given Utility Model Patent No. 151804, “A device for capacitive current compensation during single phase-to-ground faults in multi-phase electrical networks with insulated neutral”. One of R&D projects implemented in IDGC of Volga resulted in a unique prototype - a packaged static dry-running blowout unit to compensate for capacitive currents in 6-10 kV grids which may serve both as an arc-suppression coil and neutral forming transformer. D. Tolmachev presented a report detailing on the above invention at the VIII Cheboksary Economic Forum.
