During six months of 2015, Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, JSC), performed 1,398 technological connections to electric networks for the total capacity of 35.1 MW to supply electric power to 269 legal entities and 1,129 individuals. To implement the above project, Penzaenergo built 62.92 km of 6-10/0.4 kV distribution networks (DN), reconstructed 1.74 km of 6-10/0.4 kV DN and transformers with the aggregate capacity of 0.65 MVA, and commissioned 1.04 MVA transformer capacity. Major consumers connected to Penzaenergo's networks during the first six months include: Medical Module of Penza Blood Donor Center (0.4 MW); Potato Warehouse in the Bogoslovka, Penzenskiy District (0.42 MW); Grain Elevator in the Tamala urban-type settlement (3 MW); Production Building of ZAO Elekom, Penza (1 MW); Livestock Farm (500 cattle) in the Shemysheyskiy District (0.5 MW); and Youngstock Farm in the Pioner settlement Kuznetskiy District (0.4 MW). The group of major consumers connected to Penzaenergo's networks also includes Turkey Kill and Processing Plant (3 MW) in the Bolshiye Khutora settlement, Nizhnekolomovskiy District; co-generation plant for power and heat supply to the above Plant (3 MW); 10 kV distribution networks for energizing fattening and breeding grounds in the Novaya Pyatina settlement, Nizhnelomovskiy District (0.7 MW); and 10 kV distribution networks for energizing four agricultural grounds in the Katkovka settlement, Kolyshleyskiy District (0.9 MW). Just in six months of 2015, Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, received 1,370 requests for technological connection to the electric networks (a 7% increase as compared to the similar period in 2014). The declared capacity was 73.9 MW. During the above period, Penzaenergo signed 1,049 technological connection agreements for the total capacity of 66.3 MW. By the end of 2015, Penzaenergo will expectedly connect 22 MW of new capacity to its networks. Major technological connection facilities will include power-receiving devices of the production facilities of OAO Scientific and Production Enterprise Rubin, Penza and Kamayka settlement (3 MW); OAO Atmis-sakhar, Kamenka (2 MW); OOO Chaadaevskiy penobeton, the Chaadaevka settlement, Gorodishchenskiy District (1.7 MW). Access to electric power sources is one of the vital drivers of social and economic development of the region. Business development, investment attractiveness of the region and thus life quality of residents depend on timely and skillful delivery of technological connection services. To ensure the required development, Penzaenergo pursues its efforts to commission new capacities, reconstruct networks and build new power facilities.
