As part of the investment program 2015 at five 110 kV substations of Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), teleautomatic systems were reconstructed. Modern hardware and software suites were installed at substations in the Nicholayevsky, Melekessky, Baryshsky, Veshkaymsky and Bazarnosyzgansky Districts of the region. Teleautomation of substations enables remotely in real-time mode to control the conditions of equipment, to monitor the indicators of network settings: voltage level, capacity, temperature, frequency of electric current. In addition to the reconstruction of equipment directly at the substations on the data receiving devices in Dispatch Services the appropriate software allowing to organize the information, was installed. All data are displayed on the Wall diagram. The advantage of modern teleautomatics over the outdated counterparts is that the system not only collects and transmits data to the dispatching services, but also carries out the analysis and processing of the transmitted information. Digital systems of teleautomatics contribute towards the improvement of reliability and quality of power supply to the consumers of the branch. Thanks to teleautomation a dispatcher controls large parts of the network, has a complete and accurate information about the technological modes, is able to respond promptly in the event of unacceptable equipment operating mode and accident prevention. During the implementation of the Program of upgrading and extending the system of data collection and transmission at substations of the branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC - Ulyanovsk DG, the reconstruction of teleautomatics has been already accomplished at 31 substations. Next year a further six similar complexes are planned to be installed.
