IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) summarized the results of the repair program for the first quarter of this year. In January–March 2016, the company repaired 193 transformers (35 kV and higher); 45 same class isolating switches, separators and short-circuiting switches; 262 switches (6 kV and higher).
In 6–10/0.4 kV electric grids, the works were fulfilled on 286 transformer substations, and 146 transformers were repaired. Traditionally, focus was placed on clearing and widening of forest corridors on power transmission lines running through the forest. The area of clearing works totaled 64.5 ha and that of widening totaled 62.5 ha.
Timely and high-quality repair program fulfillment is one of the essentials of stable work of the power grid complex and uninterrupted power supply for consumers at the territory of seven regions of the Volga Federal District, the responsibility areas of IDGC of Volga, PJSC.
