The work of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group) power engineers on implementation of the governmental program “Increase of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in Saratov Region up to 2020” earned honorary mention of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities.

 A letter of gratitude was presented to the company representatives under the business program of the exhibition “Power Industry. Energy Efficiency. 2018”, where the stand of IDGC of Volga was given a place of honor.

Over the past five years power engineers of the Volga have managed to reduce electric power losses by 11%. According to the results of 2017, the general economic benefit has made 88.5 mln kWh for the total amount of over 268 mln rubles. Such results were achieved due to implementation of the whole package of technical measures. Modernization of metering devices is among the most efficient measures. The company is now establishing the system of remote consumer data acquisition in accordance with the plan for prospective development of electric power metering systems. Since 2011, over 234 ths. revenue metering devices and over 4.1 ths. technical metering devices have been mounted and replaced. The branch lines of 0.4 kV high voltage lines to the buildings were also substituted for self-supporting insulated wire instead of an ordinary wire and the metering devices were placed on the facades of the houses.

 The power engineers’ efforts to increase energy efficiency of the power grid facilities and to implement power supply measures will be continued.
