This simple procedure consists of three stages: filing an application, conclusion of an agreement and connection to the grid.  For 9 months of 2018, Orenburgenergo received 2243 applications for technological connection with a total capacity of 144.8 MW; concluded 1819 contracts for 160.5 MW and 1352 new facilities with a total capacity of 124 MW have been actually connected to the grid.

"Orenburgenergo has a well-developed electrical grid infrastructure and enough power to connect facilities to the grid", said Viktor Zilbershtein. "In the third quarter alone, we connected apartment buildings and residential complexes in Orenburg, oil wells and fields in the Orenburg, Sakmara, Krasnogvardeisky, Novosergiyevsky and Northern areas to the power grids."
