In the main nomination of the XVIII Annual regional competition among economic entities and municipalities “Leader of the economics of the Orenburg region”, Orenburgenergo Branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti) took the third place. At the award ceremony, the Governor of the Orenburg region, Yuriy Berg, presented the honorary award to the Deputy General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, Director of Orenburgenergo Branch, Viktor Kazhaev. According to the main indicators, Orenburgenergo Branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC is consistently among the strongest. The overall profitability of the company in 2017 was 108.6 percent, and the growth rate of services for the transmission of electrical energy was 118 percent.
Orenburgenergo Branch showed high results by the main criteria - the volume of transmitted electric energy in 2017 amounted to 8 billion 968 million kilowatt * hours. As for the second main type of activity - technological connection to power grids - 2,531 applications for 297 MW were received in 2017, most of which came from individuals. 2,046 contracts for 219 MW were concluded; in fact, 2,330 consumers were connected to the power grids for a total capacity of 170 MW. Major projects have been implemented to connect residential complexes, production areas, oil fields, the largest solar power plants in the country to power grids. Investments in fixed assets amounted to more than 771 million rubles. As part of the investment program implementation, hundreds of kilometers of power lines were built last year, and 150.6 megawatts of transformer capacity were commissioned.
Orenburgenergo Branch took part in the competition among enterprises with more than 2 thousand employees. Competitive selection was carried out by comparing the complex indicators of economic development. The expert council assessed the production and financial-economic indices, the level of social responsibility and security of the company's employees, the investment component.
