Power engineers discussed changes in legislation regarding the calculation of payment for utility connection, the procedure for interaction between the grid organization and citizens, whose power receiving devices are located within the borders of the territory of gardening or horticulture, the conclusion of an energy supply contract (power purchase and sale) in the framework of the single-window system without the consumer’s interaction with guaranteeing supplier (energy sales organization), determining the optimal scheme for connecting consumers, active interaction with consumers at the application stage in order to exclude cases of capacity redundancy and other aspects and innovations.
- To make the procedure of connecting to power grids more simple, fast, transparent and less costly for the consumer is our main task today, which is supported by numerous changes at the legislative level,- said Vladimir Kozlov, Head of the utility connection department of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. – For example, it is not necessary to visit Customer Service Offices to apply for utility connection – thanks to the introduction of digital solutions, it is enough to visit our official website and apply remotely. A
ll this, of course, has a positive effect on improving the quality of customer service and accessibility of the energy infrastructure. As power engineers noted, the number of consumers choosing the remote way to interact with the company is increasing every year, which indicates usability. Active feedback allows working on its improvement.
