Rosseti Volga branch (brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) - Saratov Distribution Gridss continues to implement the repair program for 2019. For 8 months of the current year, power engineers repaired more than 4.5 thousand km of power transmission lines (OPL) of 0.4-110 kV, on which 18,165 insulators were renovated.

About 12 km of the lightning cable was replaced. One of the most significant areas of preparation for AWP is the clearing of OPL routes from tree and shrub vegetation, which allows to minimize the amount of OPL damage caused by the fall of trees on the wires. The widespread use of mulching equipment and other means of mechanization allowed power engineers to perform work on an area of more than 1004 hectares. 784 separators, short-circuit breakers and disconnectors, 486 switches of 6-110 kV were repaired at 35-110 kV substations.

Repair works were carried out at 935 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. Successful implementation of the repair program is the most important condition for stable operation of the power grid complex and reliable power supply to consumers in the upcoming autumn-winter period.
