"Penzaenergo", a branch of "Rosseti Volga" (brand of I"DGC of Volga", PJSC), was recognized as one of the winners of the regional stage of the fifth All-Russian media contest, press services of energy companies and regional administrations of "MediaTEC".

The award ceremony was held in the Office of tariff regulation and energy conservation of the Penza region. The Penza branch of "Rosseti Volga" received the diploma for first place in the nomination “Popularization of professions in the fuel and energy sector” in the category of participants in the press service of regional energy companies for the project “Acquaintance with the profession of the electric power industry”. The essence of the project is the publication of a series of articles in the regional periodical that tells about various specialties in the electric power industry, about people who have connected their lives with the electric power profession.

The main objectives of the project are to popularize the profession of electric power industry in the Penza region, to attract young specialists to the company. The "Penzaenergo" branch has been participating in the "MediaTEC" contest since 2015. During this time, 5 projects in the categories “Social and Environmental Initiative” and “Popularization of the Fuel and Energy Industry Profession” were submitted to the jury. The last four years "Penzaenergo" was awarded with diplomas of the first degree.
