This year, Orenburg Production Department of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), will spend over 42 million rubles to implement its repair program.
In May, specialists will start the large-scale repair operations on the city power system to maintain reliability and quality of power supply for customers. Repairs will affect 165 transformer substations. Sixty transformers will be decommissioned to undergo capital repairs at a special repair workshop. Specialists of the Company will recondition over 16 kilometers of power transmission lines. Repair operations will be carried out on electrical networks in almost all districts of the city.
Power engineers warn that electricity supply for residents of Orenburg will be disconnected. Such short-term outages is a necessary inconvenience for reliable electricity, as to ensure safe operation of electricians working on power transmission lines and transformer substations, these facilities must be de-energized. To minimize inconvenience to residents, planned outages will occur during the daytime on weekdays. Customers will receive ample notifications.
