In Saratov, a review of the readiness for a flood of the forces and means of the regional system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations was held. The event was attended by subdivisions of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Saratov region, enterprises of the regional fuel and energy complex, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rosgvardia, specialists from the Center for Disaster Medicine. The readiness of the personnel, the availability and efficiency of special machinery and equipment was assessed by the Governor of the Saratov region Valery Radaev.
According to experts' forecasts, this spring 23 municipal districts may be flood-hazardous; 99 settlements, and more than 7 thousand houses, in which about 24 thousand people live, as well as more than 30 socially significant objects are located in the zone of possible flooding. During the inspection of equipment and special means, the Head of the region noted that all services responsible for flood control measures must act clearly and harmoniously, and in the event of an emergency, be ready to quickly eliminate its consequences.
Rosseti Volga, PJSC was represented by the emergency recovery team of the Saratov Distribution Grids, equipped with the necessary equipment and special vehicles with high cross-country ability. The Governor was shown a truck crane, a crane drilling machine, a hydraulic lift, a brigade vehicle and a mobile diesel power station on the KAMAZ platform.
The power engineers reported to Valery Radaev that throughout the territory of responsibility of the Saratov branch of Rosseti Volga, similar teams have been formed and are in full readiness, provided with the necessary transport, special equipment, mechanisms and backup power supplies.
The Governor thanked the Volga power engineers for the readiness for action and expressed confidence in ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the flood-prone areas of the Saratov region.
