Power engineers of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) continue their activities to implement the Repair Program 2014. As of June 01, 2014, Penza power workers overhauled 235.64 km of 35-110 kV of overhead power transmission lines; 1,439.79 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead power transmission lines; twenty-six 35-110 kV substations; 634 transformer substations (6-10/0.4 kV). Besides, 232.21 hectares of forest corridors were cleaned from trees and shrubs. Annual repair campaign of Penzaenergo is aimed to increase reliability and quality of power supply for consumers of the Penza region. It is also an important stage of preparation of the grid complex for the period of autumn-winter peak loads.
