The General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, as a member of Rosseti PJSC delegation, took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2018.

The forum gathered on the banks of the Neva more than 17 thousand participants from more than one hundred countries: politicians, businessmen, journalists. According to the organizers’ estimates, this is a record number of SPIEF visitors for all the time.

On the first day, representatives of the Rosseti group of companies, heads of the entities of the Russian Federation, as well as heads of the largest enterprises specializing in the production of power equipment, discussed the plan for implementing the strategy of power grid complex digitalization. The discussion was held within the session “Digital Transformation of Russia’s Electric Power Industry: Readiness for Challenges, Openness to Opportunities.” The discussants noted that, besides the reconstruction of the existing energy system infrastructure, unique non-standard solutions will be necessary to effectively implement the process of Russian power grids digitalization.

At the same time, the Volga power engineers actively introduce domestic innovative equipment, materials and technologies. Participation in such significant world-class events, exchange of opinions and experience with Russian and foreign colleagues, of course, allows us, power engineers, to develop the most effective approach to the implementation of digitalization project of domestic power grid complex. ”
