The agreement signed by the General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, Vladimir Ryabikin, and the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Vladimir Volkov, defines the relationship between the Government of the region and the grid company for the next 10 years on strategic cooperation in the field of innovative development and modernization of the region’s power grid complex.

The efforts of the Government of the Republic and the electric grid company will be aimed at creating a positive investment climate and economic attractiveness of the region. Among the priorities identified in the agreement are the creation of conditions for the widespread use of innovative technologies in the construction, reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the electric grid economy of the Republic of Mordovia, improving the reliability of electricity supply and the quality of customer service.

A separate area of interaction is the task of digitalization of the power grid infrastructure. The investment program of Mordovenergo branch provides for the creation of “digital” systems with a high level of automation of process control, the expansion of the smart electricity metering system, the implementation of measures to reduce losses in the branch grids, modern mobile services for consumers.

Modernization of the power grid complex, the use of the latest “digital” solutions are designed to ensure reliable operation of the power grid facilities of the Republic of Mordovia, uninterrupted power supply to consumers and to reach the benchmarks for the development of the industry, designated by the Russian Government.
