The award ceremony took place in the Government of the Saratov region on the eve of the Day of Russia. On behalf of the President of the country, the badge and certificate of awarding Vladimir Ryabikin the honorary title "Honored Power Engineer of the Russian Federation" was presented by Governor Valery Radaev.
Vladimir Anatolievich Ryabikin - hereditary power engineer. He began his career in the power industry in 1987 and went all the way to Rosseti Volga General Director. During his leadership, the company has done extensive work on the development of the electric grid distribution complex in seven regions of the Volga Federal District - Saratov, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg, Penza regions, the Republic of Mordovia and the Chuvash Republic.
The process of preparation and successful completion of the autumn-winter period was constructively built, a reduction in the number of technological violations, the average duration of interruption in the power supply to consumers was achieved, an effective system for planning equipment repairs was organized, modern diagnostic tools are widely used. More than 11,950 km of power lines and more than 5,126 MVA of capacity were commissioned, many large projects were implemented. Among them is the commissioning of a new 110/10 kV Airport substation intended for power supply of the aviation hub under construction in Saratov, as well as objects of special importance - the 110/10 kV Posop substation in Saransk and the 110/10 kV Stadium substation in Samara, from which the Mordovia Arena and Cosmos Arena stadiums were powered, as well as the facilities of the sports infrastructure of the World Cup 2018.
Currently, under the leadership of Vladimir Anatolievich Ryabikin, active work is underway on the digital transformation of the power grid complex. In particular, in the Saratov region an innovative project “Rosseti Volga” will be implemented to create the first digital substation in the region. The platform for the implementation of technical solutions supporting digital data exchange between devices with the possibility of integration into a single management information system will be the 110/10 kV Sazanley substation in the Balakovsky district of the Saratov region.
