Specialists of the Orsk Production Division of the Rosseti Volga branch - Orenburgenergo (a member of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) carry out a major overhaul of power transmission lines and transformer substations in Orsk. The repair program in 2019 provides for work on 212 transformer substations, 42 kilometers of power lines.
Repair work will affect the lines and equipment of substations that provide electricity to 40 streets, 5 lanes, 2 avenues, Nikitin Boulevard, as well as the settlements of Stroiteley and Janatalap. - At the moment, work is underway on a 0.4 kV overhead line that runs through the private sector. After we install the main wire, the brigade will begin to install the inputs to the houses - wires that run from the main line to the building pediment and through which electric power flows into the house.
All inputs will also be made with insulated wire. This is both safer and more secure than bare aluminum, ”said Dmitry Shmatov, director of the Orsk production department of the Orenburgenergo branch. Power engineers warn: during repairs electricity in households, enterprises and organizations will be limited. This is a necessary measure, since electricians are on power lines and in transformer substations, for their safety objects are de-energized.
- In addition to the planned work, we carry out urgent repairs of equipment. As a rule, they relate to the elimination of defects that were found during inspections, during thermal imaging or visual inspection of equipment. These defects can lead to serious technological violations, so we eliminate them as they are discovered. To do this, sometimes you have to carry out repair work at the weekend, - explained Dmitry Shmatov.
About the upcoming repairs and related outages dispatchers warn management companies and HOA responsible for electrical facilities of enterprises and organizations. Information is also sent to the administrations of the Leninsky, Oktyabrsky and Sovetsky districts of Orsk.
